Full-day Hiroshima & Miyajima

7-hour tour through the city I grew up in and the island that humbles me

We'll travel together by ferry, train, and on foot—at our own pace, not a schedule's. I'll show you my favorite stops along the way: the okonomiyaki place I take my own family to, the quiet shrine corners most tourists miss, the side streets between landmarks where Hiroshima feels most itself. A full day spent the way I'd spend it with a friend visiting my home for the first time—curious, unhurried, and hungry by lunch.

What we'll experience together

Walk through Peace Memorial Park

Stand where Hiroshima rebuilt itself after 1945

Cross to Miyajima

Sacred island in the Seto Inland Sea, where deer roam freely among the shrines

See the Great Torii

The iconic vermilion gate that appears to float at high tide

Lunch where locals eat

Hiroshima-style Okonomiyaki at a spot you wouldn't find on your own(Sushi, Ramen, other restrant available)

”Anazing Tour Guide for Hiroshima”

Pancho was an excellent guide!
He communicated with us 2 days before to be sure the time and location where we were going to picked up. We were on a cruise ship that stopped for one day in Hiroshima
He organized the tour in a great way . First we went early to Miyajima Island. He is very knowledgeable of the area and knew there could be a lot of people and traffic so we parked in a Mall near the Ferry Port and from there took a short train ride to avoid traffic time.
On the Island we saw the famous Great Torii Gate and then visited the Itsukushima Shrine. He really gave great explanations with details about everything.
Then we visited the Miyajima Misen Daisho-in Temple.
After we finished in the Island and with a very smooth ride back to Hiroshima City Center we had a delicious lunch in a local place to eat a great Hiroshima okonomiyaki . People were so friendly and you could watch how they prepared it for us.
After lunch we headed to a very sad place, ground zero in Hiroshima. Sad to see but a good place to remind us why wars are bad and how people suffer from the devastation.
The Peace Memorial was very solemn and we showed our respect and prayed
We were back to the Ship on time after having a great day.
Thanks Pancho . you really are a great man and excellent guide!
Thanks for all your knowledge and we were lucky you were born and raised in Hiroshima and for the great family values you shred with us!
