Half-day Peace Memorial Park

4-hour walking tour with a son of A-bomb survivors

Hiroshima is my hometown. My family was here in 1945, two miles from the hypocenter—far enough to survive. I grew up in classrooms where peace was a daily lesson. But this tour isn't only about that history. It's about the city I love—its resilience, its quiet beauty. History on request. Mostly, I want you to meet my hometown.

We'll walk slowly. I'll show you the corners I love, share what locals notice but visitors usually miss, and leave plenty of space for your own questions. I have a route in mind, but we'll go at your pace. Half a day spent the way I'd spend it with a friend visiting Hiroshima for the first time.

What we'll experience together

Stand at the hypocenter — Where history changed in a single moment

Hear my family's story — A first-hand account passed down across three generations

Fold a paper crane — Donate it to the Children's Peace Memorial together

Lunch where locals eat — Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki at a spot you wouldn't find on your own
